InfoFirst IF/CMS Content Management System Powers Non-profit Website
InfoFirst, Inc. has launched a newly designed website for The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association.
The Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association, a member supported non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of the natural environment in the 265-square mile region drained by Stony Brook and the Millstone River, chose the InfoFirst solution for its power, flexibility and user-friendly administrative control panel.
The InfoFirst Content Managment System (IF/CMS) allows editiors and environmental content contributors to concentrate on publishing articles dedicated to improving community awareness of environmental issues, protecting water quality and quantity, and supporting informed land use decision-making without having to know HTML or other programming.
Website contributors can add, edit and delete text and images to the content rich website via a secure control panel. Content is stored in a MySQL database, displayed dynamically in templated PHP pages, and uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for design consistancy throughout the website.
