Cell Phone Applications Developed in BREW

InfoFirst has been developing cell phone applications for mobile carriers that base their applications on Qualcomm's BREW (Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) System since its adoption and use by Verizon Wireless.

In addition to creating the earliest versions of dotPhoto's Pictavision application for Verizon's Get It Now platform, InfoFirst teamed again with dotPhoto to release MyHoroscope and MyLoveSigns. These applications have evolved into the popular MyApps platform available from many mobile service providers worldwide that feature BREW-based applications.

InfoFirst has often been ahead of the curve for mobile applications. Early in the the appearance of RSS, InfoFirst partnered with Feedburner to create mobile versions of RSS readers in BREW. CNET Mobile Reader was the first to make it to the phones, but these applications were early in the lifecycle of RSS and failed to attract a wide enough audience...but the technology was solid and the applications performed magnificently!

InfoFirst continues to provide BREW programming of the highest quality and reliability. We shepherd the application from concept through design, BREW coding, system testing, NSTL testing, carrier testing, and product release. Please to express your interest. We'll get back to you promptly to discuss how we can assist your company in creating BREW-powered mobile versions of your applications.
